Knowing what to do in life

One thing that our world believes is that every young person should have their life figured out before finishing school. We are expected to know what we want to do in life in order to be able to work towards something.

There are some young people that know what they want to do in life by an very early age. Everyone is so excited and happy for them, because they have most of their life figured out.

Then there are those who have no idea what they want to do in life until they reach their early 20s. They are the ones who usually get judged by everyone else for not knowing what they want to do.

It is okay to not have your whole life figured out by an early age. No one can actually have their whole life figured out, not even the ones who knows what their future career is supposed to be. God can give us a strong passion for something, but he is the only one who knows your entire future and what it looks like.

Sometimes many of us are really good at something that others may find hard to do. We don’t always realize it at first, but these things can have an important part in our life one day. Some examples of a few things are: writing, reading, speaking, singing, playing instruments, and being good with computers. Whatever you were good at when you were younger, may be an important part in your life now when you are older.

God has called each one of us to do something in life. But it is important to remember that God might change our callings in life. Although our gifts won’t change, because they are the ones that makes us uniquely, our calling can and will sometimes. So it is important to remember to not stay stuck with one thing in our lives, unless God is calling us to do so.

If you know what you want to do in life then I want to encourage you to keep working towards that. I also want to encourage you to not get prideful, and still remember God, because he gave you your gifts in the first place.

If you don’t know what you want to do in the future then I encourage you to keep moving forward in life. Remember everyone has something that they are good at, so it will come to you at some point in life.
